To discover important moments in Belarusian history because we believe that Belarusian history should be celebrated by young and old, women and men, by Belarusians and by foreigners, by you!
So we are set to go! Back to the past! But wait a second how far do we have to go back? When did Belarusian history start? We know that Belarus as a geographical name for its territory came to existence around the year 1600. But did you know that the first humans to settle on Belarusian lands did so 25.000 years ago. They were called Cro-Magnon people. Wow, surely we can find some great historical moments in this 25.000 years span of Belarusian history.
But where do we actually find Belarusian history? Logical places like museums, archives, and libraries are filled with history? But we want a bit more adventure! We want to meet and learn from our past hero’s, fight against some enemy or uncover mysterious myths. Just like our idol Indiana Jones did.
We have heard that for the most accurate history we have to dig under the ground with picks and trowels. Where millions of material remains are found. Physical things people made or used, like buildings, coins and roads, weapons or very old socks. This is of course exciting and all, but we don’t have that much patience to dig for months and months, we rather leave that up to professional architects and historians..

So we came up with a better and even more exciting plan! We have been in secret working with some crazy scientists on the building of a time machine. A special time machine that will bring us to the Belarusian past without digging! However there is one condition, the time machine has a mind of its own, and will therefore decide where in the past it will drop us. We have instructed our time machine ‘Grisha’ to bring us to the most important moments in the Belarusian past, May the speed of light be with us!
